About Your Coach
Debbie Keating, RN, CEN, TCRN, dipACLM, NBHWC
Hi, I’m Debbie, a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach with over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse. My career in nursing gave me a front-row seat to the struggles of those living with chronic, often preventable diseases like hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease.
I realized that while traditional healthcare focuses on treating illness, true healing often begins with prevention—and that’s where lifestyle medicine comes in.
Through certification with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, I’ve gained the tools and evidence-based knowledge to help people improve their health through sustainable changes in nutrition, movement, stress management, and more.
I believe in meeting clients where they are—offering nonjudgmental guidance, emotional support, and strategies that align with their individual goals and values. Whether you're feeling stuck, seeking balance, or ready for a full lifestyle reset, I’m here to help you reconnect with your health and rediscover your strength.
On a personal note, I live what I teach. Lifestyle changes helped me overcome joint pain and continue pursuing the adventures I love—traveling, exploring nature, and staying active. I’m a firm believer that with the right support and motivation, lasting change is possible for everyone.
Let’s work together to make your wellness a priority—because your health matters.
My Background in Healthcare
Before becoming a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I spent over two decades as a registered nurse, working in some of the most intense and rewarding areas of medicine. My clinical experience spans emergency departments, trauma centers, surgical recovery units, and palliative care—serving patients from pediatric to geriatric across Texas and Massachusetts.
Most of my career was spent in emergency nursing, including several years as a relief charge nurse in a Level II Trauma Center. I also took on specialized roles such as RN Patient Navigator in an ER diversion program, guiding patients with chronic conditions toward better outcomes. I’ve worked in post-anesthesia care units (PACU), coordinated with surgical teams, and provided end-of-life care with compassion and sensitivity.
I’ve completed travel assignments in major hospitals across Massachusetts, gaining exposure to diverse patient populations and medical systems. This wide-ranging experience has shaped my holistic, person-centered approach to wellness.
